UNITE AND REVIVE KUMAWOOD  AND STOP BLOCKING OUR SHINE

  • An Assin Fosu based Journalist (Newscaster)Odoom Prince Linford aka Gameboy has entreated some actors and actresses in the country especially those in Kumawood to focus on reviving the gradually collapsing movie industry and stop blocking the chances of young and upcoming journalist who are equally good to fix a vacancy in radio and TV stations in the country.


He said,youth in the country have spent a lot of money to be trained as professional journalist and Presenters only to wake up and hear our news and paper reviews being taken over with comedy by our senior brothers and sisters in the movie industry who are living a luxurious life,
what then happen to the poor young and upcoming radio personality who needs to be employed to make a living. Kojo Nkansah Lil win host,I don't think far news on Adom TV,Emelia Brobbey- Okukuseku Adom TV,Baba Spirit hosrs Broken News on Joy Prime,Bishop Bernard Nyarko hosts "Warahw3" on AdomTv,Papa Kumasi hospitals of "anigye mere" just to mention a few,

 there is no doubt that they pay for your the airtime to host their programs on TV stations but that money can be invested in Kumawood to revive the industry and to create employment.

 It is sad to see every star trying to be a producer on their own,who then employ the services of the other. why is almost every actor or actress trying to host a program on TV or radio,he asked.

Gameboy finally adviced actor and actress to focus on the ailing kumawood movie industry by investing much on a project to make it attractive to Ghanaians rather than forcing themselves to become radio and TV personalities. Please allow us to see the light.
