GES OFFICE DISCONNECTED BY ECG ,WORK ON STANDSTILL
The Assin North Branch of the Ghana Education Service has being disconnected by the Electricity Company Of Ghana after the service inability to pay a huge sun of money owed as electricity bill.In an interview with the Media Relations Officer for Assin North Municipal Education Service Nana Kuntuo Asare he said,they were disconnected about 4 weeks ago,he said government has failed to release their share of GoG funding and support which is their only source of revenue for the past five years now so they are handicapped ,the Assembly assisted us in the
payment some months ago but because the amount is huge is has compiled again,he reinterated.
Nana Kuntuo added that ,confidential documents that should have been kept secret are now sending out for printing at the municipal assembly and sometimes a printing press which is very risking. Our duties are one hold now ,he said. He has therefore called on stakeholders in education,NGOs,MPs and Citizenry to come to their aid as early as possible
