OUR PREGNANT WOMEN ARE DYING -  CHIEF CRIES The Chief of Assin Brofoyedru Sebenso  in the Assin North Municipality in Central Region Nana Yaw Amoah has voiced out that his people are dying because of their poor road network, it is serious and pathetic because from Brofoyedru to Assin Sebenso is not far but when there is emergency especially our pregnant women drivers nearby collect Gh 50 CEDI's before taking them to hospital. Moreover, the past government constructed a modern bridge in the community but they didn't finish it as a result cars cannot cross the bridge to the next town so you have to walk about 5 miles before reaching the town. Because of that farmers foodstuffs spoils which is making life unbearable here so our youth are living the community to the cities which is very sad. Nicholas Fiifi Baako has charged every institution in the Municipality to use every Friday of every week for a general cleaning from 6:00am to 8:00am . He said any institution which will undermine this directive will be punish severely to serve as deterrent to improve sanitation in the municipal and the country at large.
